AutismSeriously Funny eBook Zidlow Marx Elijah Marx Reviews
Funny and seriously moving at times. I had a hard time putting the book down. It helped me understand how to cope with problems I have in my own life. You'll be wanting more after every page! Looking forward to future stories.
A great collection of stories written by Zidlow about his son. Whlie his son may have some special needs he also possesses some extraordinary qualities. It reads as a poignant, humureous, and informative love story between father and son.
A
I loved it! It was funny and endearing. Autism definitely has many sad and frustrating moments but the joy and laughter is still there. This book highlights that aspect of living with a child on the autism scale )
I swear you know my daughter!! Eli and my daughter Kennadi are very similar, especially when you talked about reading at an early age! Perhaps you should Google Hyperlexia this was something else Kennadi was diagnosed with! This is a great book, I would like to write one too someday!
This book is FANTASTIC! If you know anyone with family or friends that have been touched by the autism spectrum, get them this book.
The description of Mr.Marx's feelings when first learning of his son's diagnosis, to his telling of the "where's the cat" story couldn't make someone cry and laugh respectively with any more intensity.
I'm hoping Mr.Marx tells us some more stories soon.
This book is short but really an insightful read into a world that may not be as different as you think. All kids act in odd ways and Zidlow's perspective on life in general is something we should all think on more. To live a life of laughter and positivity even when faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges. He might have it all figured out.
I thought this book was really funny. I enjoyed reading all the stories, which were funny and sweet. The surprise was how heartwarming it was as well. You could really feel the love that this dad has for his son. Makes you realize how special every individual child can be, no matter what the circumstances. I would recommend this book to anyone who has been touched by someone with autism, or not.
Beautifully written book. Made me cry and laugh out loud. If you have a child on the autism spectrum or love someone with autism it's a must read. It made me appreciate my son even more. Written with love and kindness.
